Do I need to be home while the cleaners are there?While it is preferred for someone to be home during the cleaning appointment, it is not mandatory. You have the option to let us in and then leave to run errands, or you can leave a key for us, and we'll ensure to lock up after ourselves. Please be sure to leave any necessary instructions in your booking notes regarding how we can enter the home and lock up.

Can the cleaners let other contractors inside the home while I am absent in the home?For the safety of our cleaners, we do not permit them to allow other contractors into the home while you are absent. This precaution is in place to ensure the well-being of our cleaners and to mitigate any liability issues that may arise if something were to go wrong in the home unrelated to the cleaner's work.

What is your cancellation policy?Clients must cancel their cleaning appointments at least 48 hours before their scheduled service to avoid inconvenience. Maid 4 Home reserves the right to charge a $40 cancellation fee for bookings canceled after the 48-hour window of the scheduled service time. When a cleaning appointment is booked, we reserve a time slot on our schedule specifically for you, making it difficult to fill vacant slots on short notice. If you won't be home during the appointment, please provide entry instructions. We also reserve the right to charge our standard cancellation fee for all no-shows and lockouts.

Can I apply a coupon to an existing booking?Yes, you can apply a coupon to an existing booking. During the booking process, simply enter your coupon or gift card code into the booking form, and your final price will automatically adjust to reflect your coupon balance. Additionally, you can log into your account at any time to view the balance on any gift cards you have.

When do I pay for my cleaning?Payment for your cleaning service will be processed as follows: the day before your scheduled cleaning, your card will be placed on a temporary hold. After the cleaning service is completed, we will charge your card for the full amount of the job.

Will I be charged more for my cleaning appointment?In the rare event that our cleaner determines your home requires additional cleaning or a more thorough approach upon arrival, they will promptly inform us. We will then assess the situation and determine the most suitable service for your home's condition, along with the adjusted price. If you agree to the proposed changes, we will hold the adjusted price on your credit card and charge it once the appointment is completed.
